Situated right at the heart of the historic Tr\u00e9gor, half-way between the tourist centers of Lannion and Guingamp (20kms) and at an equal distance from all parts of the tr\u00e9gor coast, from Perros-Guirec to Paimpol (30 kms), from Plestin-les Gr\u00e9ves to Saint-Quay Portrieux (40 kms), and the Ile de Br\u00e9hat (34 kms), the hamlet is a strategic base from which to discover all the main tourist sites of the region while escaping the frenzy of the coast in high
\nseason. There are numerous fine sandy beaches and the famous pink sands of resorts such as Tregastel, Perros, Tr\u00e9beurden, Ile Grande, Beg L\u00e9guer.<\/p>\n

And also: The chateaux of Tonquedec, Kergrist and La Roche Jagu, Tr\u00e9guier Cathedral, Beauport Abbey and the historic towns of Lannion and Guingamp.<\/p>\n

Hiking and Cycling<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”70px”][vc_column_text]Walking and cycling enthusiasts will find the Tr\u00e9gor well served with footpaths and quiet country roads that take you along river banks, through woods and down ancient \u2018sunken\u2019 lanes. For ramblers there is also the mythical \u2018sentier des Douaniers\u2019, the old customs officers path, which follows the Granit rose coast from Paimpol to Ploumanch through spectacular scenery from the glittering sea to the majestically colourful moorlands. Northern Brittany awaits you there.<\/p>\n

Discover too the valleys of the rivers Guindy, Donant and Perrier, the circuit of the river Trieux, the M\u00e9nez Br\u00e9, Palacret, Poulloguer Watermill, Br\u00e9lidy, Coatascorn. The Traoui\u00e9ro valley at Tr\u00e9gastel\/Ploumanch, the Armorique Regional Nature Reserve and the magnificent and mysterious Huelgoat Forest an hour\u2019s drive away.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
